Overview
The goal of this commission was to transform the client’s existing male OC into a female version while preserving recognizable traits such as expression, vibe, and overall character energy. The request centered on delivering a cute, slightly shy pose with warm lighting and an inviting, soft atmosphere.
I began by analyzing the original male character’s features and translating them into a feminine design without losing the essence of the character. I explored lighting that emphasized softness and warmth, blending painterly highlights with crisp anime linework. The process involved experimenting with facial expressions, smoothing stylization, and enhancing the mood with gentle sunlight to elevate the emotional tone.
